SANGIOVESE: THE ULTIMATE EXPRESSION OF TUSCANY
Sangiovese is a complex family of grapes, with over 100 clones, adapting over centuries to different territories.
- It is a medium-to-late-ripening variety, requiring a long time on the vine.
- The bunches are compact, so sun exposure and air circulation are fundamental.
SANGIOVESE RED WINE CHARACTERISTICS
- High alcohol content, concentrated, and excellent for long aging.
- Primary aromas of red and black fruits: plum, cherry, and blackberry.
- When aged in wood, it develops notes of vanilla, coffee, and tobacco.
- It has a strong acidity and tannic structure, combined with one of the most refined floral bouquets.
